Job Description Job Description Why You’ll Love Working Here Dental Associates is seeking part-time Dental Hygienists to join our team and provide exceptional care to our wonderful patients. This role offers flexible hours, with either a consistent schedule of 8–16 hours per week or opportunities through our internal temp process allowing you to pick up additional hours at one of more of our locations based on your availability. This allows you flexibility while still staying connected in a team environment COMPENSATION Guaranteed hourly base pay of $55.00 with annual increase CULTURE You’ll spend your time doing what you do best — building relationships and helping patients feel confident about their smiles — while our support teams handle the admin. Team setting: stable schedules with a dedicated doctor and support staff create a cohesive teamwork-focused environment Mentorship: enjoy individual support from our internal Hygiene Service Line leaders who advocate for our RDH teams Growth potential: we have many examples of hygienists who have grown into leadership roles beyond chairside Job Responsibilities Provide a positive experience throughout the entire patient interaction; from greeting, to seating and completing their in-clinic visit Exhibiting excellent customer service to create a positive patient experience, ensuring all treatment is provided with an awareness of individual patient’s needs and concerns Removing calculus deposits, accretions, stains, and cement from supra and sub-gingival surfaces of the teeth Performing periodontal therapy, including scaling & root planning when prescribed Completing head, neck and intra/extra-oral exams to detect any abnormal swelling or lesions that could indicated any type of pathology Examining teeth and assessing periodontal health of each patient to prior to exam by dentist Charting conditions of decay and disease for treatment as diagnosed by dentist assisting during examination Job Requirements State of Wisconsin hygiene license (recent or soon-to-be graduates are encouraged to apply!)
