Job Description:

Purpose:

• Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Network Engineer in Arifjan, Kuwait.Job Description:
  • Plans, designs, and implements network management systems to monitor, diagnose, control, and measure the performance of multiple communication networks.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and recommends new network administrative systems for entire networks to ensure accurate network inventory and timely implementation.
  • Seeks a candidate with a strong background in designing and implementing Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN).
  • Requires advanced knowledge of TCP/IP Networking.Required Qualifications:
    • Ability to design network architecture based on survey results and requirements.
    • Experience installing designed networks in deployed environments.
    • Operational experience maintaining network infrastructure.
    • Knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching, network architecture planning, and managing Cisco ASA appliances.
    • Ability to prepare and present briefings.Desired Qualifications:
      • Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards.
      • DoD IAT Level II or higher.
      • Experience with DoD IT security requirements.
      • Certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, CCIE, MCSE.Education Requirements:
        • BA/BS in a technical discipline with at least 5 years of experience.Security Requirements:
          • Currently hold an adjudicated Secret Clearance and be able to maintain it.Travel Requirements:
            • Work may take place in several locations including Virginia, Arizona, Washington, and Kuwait. Candidates must be able to travel OCONUS.Physical Requirements:
              • Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
              • Move about to accomplish tasks or move between worksites.
              • Communicate with others to exchange information.
              • Perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.
