Registered Nurse (RN) | Electrophysiology Lab Location: Madison, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,457 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Electrophysiology Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years of inpatient ICU-level nursing experience or prior cardiac cath lab nursing experience preferred. Recent experience in a Cardiovascular Laboratory and/or Electrophysiology Laboratory nursing required. Moderate sedation experience required. License: Must possess a current nursing license. Certifications: BLS and ACLS certification required through the American Heart Association. Must-Have: Telemetry experience with Basic Arrhythmia skills. Ability to pass a telemetry test prior to starting. Previous critical care experience with an emphasis on cardiology. Description: Be an integral member of a high-performing, multidisciplinary team delivering exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing complex cardiovascular procedures and diagnostic cardiac catheterizations. Practice in a patient- and family-centered environment utilizing advanced technology and minimally invasive techniques. Develop and integrate new skills while incorporating evidence-based nursing practice into unit culture. Work alongside expert physicians, fellows, and researchers in a dynamic environment. Participate in shared governance by contributing to quality improvement initiatives and leading practice change. The Electrophysiology Registered Nurse functions independently as a member of the patient care team. Responsibilities include patient assessment, administration of medications, moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and circulating and scrubbing during procedures. Assist in pre- and post-procedure patient assessment and care, along with patient and family education. Demonstrate clinical expertise in working with electrophysiology patients during invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. Flexibility in work schedule is required. The ability to self-direct and organize varied workload is essential. This role requires competency in delivering patient care across a diverse patient population.
